Cameroon communication authorities satisfied with Foundation Radio's output
This was the general impression after a visit to the structure.

The authorities of the Cameroon Ministry of Communication visited Foundation Radio (FR) on Wednesday January 14, 2015. The delegation was headed by the North West Minister of Communication, Dr. Louis Marie Begne.
The Station Manager of Foundation Radio Mokun Njouny Nelson first led them on a guided tour of the structures and various components of The Fomunyoh Foundation; proprietor of FR.
During a working session that followed the Station Manager assured the communication delegation that its mission was not different from that assigned to the journalism profession and the government of Cameroon; educate inform and entertain, raise citizen awareness and to positively impact their wellbeing while meeting the interests of the surrounding underserved communities. The delegate was also informed that in spite of the financial constraints faced by the station due to lack of advertisement and the absence of state subvention; FR paid its taxes regularly did not owe staff salary arrears.
In response, the North West Regional Delegate of Communication, Dr. Loius Marie Begne expressed satisfaction at the professionalism of FR staff. He said since his appointed four months ago he has not had any complaints of unethical reporting indicting Foundation Radio. He encouraged FR’s staff to maintain this diligence, while promising the collaboration of his services when solicited.
The delegation also included; the Mezam Divisional Delegate of Communication, the Regional Chiefs for Public Communication, Private Media and Publicity, Communication Technology and Judicial Affairs.
Foundation Radio is one of the components of the Fomunyoh Foundation. It is located in Bamenda in the North West Region of Cameroon.
